Our Men's Ministry!
Our desire is to bring Men closer to God and to each other as we grow in our walk with God.
Three:16 Men’s ministry is open to adult men of all ages wanting to grow their love and faith in God. We support the Three:16 mission to Love, Live and Lead as we help each other grow spiritually. Our Three:16 men strive to put on the armor of God so we may become stronger Christians as we defend our faith and lead others to Christ. Our men’s connect groups help us learn and prepare us for our faith journeys as we fellowship with each other. If you are looking for a men’s group where you can grow and feel comfortable come join us at one of our groups. We are firm believers that “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Prov.27:17).

Our men range from hard working building tradesmen, businessmen, health professionals, educators, military, police, and retirees. Our men’s leaders are confident and committed to ministry and helping those find their love for Jesus.
What We Offer
Our Men’s ministry hosts a variety of events and classes throughout the year. Our connect groups meet at different times throughout the week. If you have a busy schedule and are not available to make a class, we also have a zoom class which meets online. We are looking forward to meeting you, whether it is at one of our breakfasts or classes. Our classes are free and a safe zone for you to grow spiritually and meet other Godly men, so what’s holding you back?
Meet our Men's Director, Virgil
Virgil Gonzalez is our men’s ministry director who also serves as an Elder on the board of Elders and is the leader of the Three:16 Safety Team. He has served for over 25 years in law enforcement and is currently an SAPD SWAT operator. He has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Occupational Education from Wayland University. He is dedicated to help lead men to grow spiritually and become strong leaders at home, at church, and in their communities.
Virgil and his wife Rosie have been married for 26 years and have two daughters. They have been faithful members of Fortress church and now Three:16 church for the last 25 years.
